San Francisco's Mission District's corridors comprise a melting pot of culture and cuisine.  Produce bins along the sidewalk, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, upscale restaurants and lowbrow dives are all part of the Mission.  (It also houses the best Mexican restaurant this side of Mexico City, "La Taqueria").

And then there's the art, colorful metaphorically animated paintings for all to see and appreciate.  These are the sides of the buildings,  I spent an afternoon walking through the Mission in late September and photographed the art, one storefront.and the interior of a Mexican children's store.  No people in any of these images.  Study the paintings; they reveal who was holding the brush.
